🔔 Colorado Excise Tax Notice – HB24-1349

Effective April 1, 2025, Colorado House Bill HB24-1349 imposes a 6.5% excise tax on the retail sale of firearms, ammunition, black powder, reloading components, and certain firearm parts (such as frames, receivers, and kits) to buyers located in Colorado.

📦 This tax does not apply to out-of-state buyers.
📄 This tax is separate from standard sales tax and will appear as an additional charge on qualifying items.
