Water-worn fossil specimen, approximately 6.5 inches long, tan to brown, conical with a blunt worn tip and an eroded cavity at the base. Reportedly found in Bowman County, North Dakota, per the consignor. This lot was previously catalogued as a Triceratops tooth. That attribution is not supported by the specimen - a rooted Triceratops tooth is roughly 2 inches at the very largest - and it has been withdrawn. Offered as an unidentified fossil, sold as-is, with no identification, species, formation, age, or provenance warranted. We would encourage you to look it over yourself during preview.
