Medieval iron mace head attributed to Bulgaria and dating approximately 1000–1400 AD. Heavy iron construction with a large central shaft opening and multiple projecting striking points around the body. Original collection tag identifies the piece as Bulgarian iron, 1000–1400 AD. Accompanied by 1998 auction documentation describing a comparable Bulgarian medieval iron mace head. Heavy surface oxidation and age-related wear throughout; see photos for condition.
